EXTREME QUALITY.
Cornerstone Valve has created a valve in 21 days from white paper to delivery. No one in the industry has done this.
Our proprietary methodology for custom valve design and production is the basis for our ability to develop a valve so quickly. A combination of data management software, our S.A.M.S process, Gibbs Cam and SolidWorks streamlines the process all the while adhering to industry standards.
This digital-flow process is not only fast, it's exacting.
Our innovative engineering system is the brain-child of Brian Caprera.
1. Identifying valve application and service conditions: media, pressure and temperature.
2. Cornerstone's proprietary S.A.M.S. process is implemented to evaluate a wide set of mathematical parameters.
S - Specify and configure valve experience / material science
A - Apply materials and components
M - Math cad calculations to applicable industry codes
S - Simulation
3. Solidworks model developed - with changes to models corresponding to FEA, CFD and dimensional drawings.
4. Models leveraged thru Gibbs Cam and CNC software
5. Finite element analysis simulation reveals stress concentrations.
6. Final assembly drawing/BOM's completed - hand-off to production team.
Our digitally-based process flows from quote to shipping.
Both quality and safety are assured with parameters based on industry standards in accordance with API.
Quality control then follows through to our own in-house production/manufacturing team.
The inspection process, assembly and testing are all tracked and overseen by the same digital system.
